I also did this project in a typography class. For this project, each student submitted a recipe, so we had around 22 recipes in total. We then had to use paragraph and character styles to design and arrange each recipe in the same style. We also designed the front and back covers, the table of contents page, and the colophon. I learned a lot from this project, especially how to use paragraph and character styles in InDesign. Using paragraph and character styles made me able to save a lot of time when designing each recipe page and with the knowledge I have of those tools now, I will save a lot of time on future page layout projects. This project was a lot of fun and very rewarding when I got my final printed book at the end.
