Snowboarding & Golf Animation — Data Visualization Project

I created this project in an integrated studio arts class that focused on data visualization. I had a lot of fun with this project using Illustrator and After Effects to bring my vector graphics to life. I also learned a lot about the golf industry and snowboarding/skiing industry. The data that I used in this project highlighted the differences between skiing/snowboarding visits in the U.S. annually with the amount of golf revenue brought in by golf courses in the U.S. annually. It was very interesting to see the differences and similarities between these two data sets, especially in 2020 when the COVID-19 virus hit and impacted these two industries on a large scale. This project was created in the Spring of 2021.
