The Attack

I have always loved stop motion videos, shows, and movies ever since I first saw Nightmare Before Christmas as a kid. For this project I wanted to capture the feeling that movie gives off while still creating something original. I used a DSLR camera on a tripod to take the images and then I put them all together in Adobe After Effects and added the music in there. I also created the whole alleyway scene inside a cardboard box and bought some cheap clay from Hobby Lobby to create the characters. I learned that keeping the camera stable is the most important thing when creating a stop motion video, and I learned that the hard way. I had a lot of fun making this claymation and I am looking forward to making another one in the near future. This project was made in the Spring of 2022.
